 JASBN would Participate in Nihonbashi Space Exhibition Week 2023  organized by Cross U.  Cross U is a co-creation platform with the objective to promote open innovation in the accelerating space industry in addition to expanding the space business. Together, we unlock an ocean of untapped possibilities, paving the way for transformative innovation and joint initiatives between Africa and Japan.   

Africa's space startups are driving a transformative change in the agricultural sector by harnessing the power of satellite technology and data analytics. These startups are revolutionizing agriculture across the continent through precision farming techniques, weather forecasting, market access facilitation, and the empowerment of smallholder farmers.  Japan's space startups have made significant contributions to the country's space industry and have had a substantial impact on its development. The government of Japan plans to invest 1 trillion yen to build a human resource network for startup creation and strengthen the supply of funds for startups, which includes 16 government-affiliated organizations that have concluded the Agreement on Support for the Formation of the Startup Ecosystem'' for the purpose of supporting startups
